We created a slick and dynamic podcast site for Sequoia.
Edgar Allan combined technical and design partnership with interaction wizardry to design and build an attention-grabbing, easy-to-update podcast site.

Hot interactions and animation for a high-profile VC podcast

This project was very much an exercise in technical and design partnership and interaction wizardry, a project where the client’s biggest goal was visual impact to match the gravitas of their content program.
Our biggest challenge (and success) was turning static ideas into an eye-grabbing experience.

Extra effort: Hover, zoom, outlines, and load bars.
We used our own AI-enabled JavaScript tool, Slater, to create code (to create animated visuals) to match Sequoia’s vision of movement, energy, and usability. A little creative Content Design helped, too: as users browse each episode’s page, a dynamic, clickable outline helps “hit the high points” types skim dialog if listening isn’t their bag.
