We make QA and UAT a step in every site we build at EA — it’s how we ensure that our work is both up to our internal standards and that the client is happy with their final build.

QA stands for Quality Assurance. At Edgar Allan, it’s a process we go through internally at the end of all our builds to check our work.
UAT stands for User Acceptance Testing. It’s a process conducted by our clients once we’ve finished building (and our own internal QA process) but before the site goes live to the public.
Both processes are for quality control — the only difference is in who is doing the checking.
