There’s an abundance of content available online, so it can be challenging for businesses to stand out and reach their target audience.
Through content discovery and content design, we address this challenge by providing a comprehensive approach to content creation, curation, and promotion.
Most often, we use these sessions to uncover any problems you have with your current site, investigate ideas that should be represented on the new one, and find out what we can do to create a useful site that meets your goals.
We do this by guiding clients through a series of exercises that help us discover the right information around brand vibe, audience, and site goals. Establishing this understanding helps us focus on your audience’s needs, frustrations, and goals when we get into the UX and Content Design of your new site.
If the focus of the workshop is on content strategy and creation specifically, we follow these principles and practices:
- Understand the audience:
Before a single page or blog is written, we need to understand who your audience is and what they’re looking for. We combine research, analysis, and empathy to learn about their demographics, interests, habits, goals, and pain points. We then use all that information to help you figure out what kind of content will resonate most.
- Use search engines:
We use search engines to look into keywords, phrases, topics, or specific websites to find relevant content while also using advanced search operators to refine the results. Doing this helps identify the kinds of keywords you should be targeting in your own content.
- Look to social media:
Social platforms are great sources of content discovery. We use them to search for hashtags, keywords, or specific profiles to find content your audience might be interested in.
