Like any process at Edgar Allan, our animation workstreams are integrated with everything else. Everyone collaborates on everything from brand and UX to content, design, and development.
Typically, a narrative and strategy are created, and then animations and experiences are built around them, mostly in a vacuum. Not here. At Edgar Allan, we cross disciplinary streams to make sure what we create is purposeful and that we aren’t creating flashiness just for the sake of it.
That’s not to say that we don’t make anything flashy because we do. We just do it with intention while also understanding—and championing—that the relative size of an animation, from full-page takeovers to subtle easing effects that are more atmospheric than loud is less important than how it adds to your brand’s story and the web experience.
