About Edgar Allan

Edgar Allan is a strategy, design, and product agency that builds products with purpose, blending verbal and visual storytelling, user experience, and technology to craft meaningful digital experiences.

We have a story-first perspective, super-collaborative cross-disciplinary process, and pretty darn high standards. You’ll be working at the forefront of a rapidly changing and expanding space. All in all, we do fun, big-impact, mostly exciting stuff.

We’re a solid twelve years old as a company, and we’ve built a business based on calm practices and a no-drama vibe. EA is mid-sized (about 45 folks), with a cross-continental team (US | Europe | Argentina | South Africa) driven by craft, autonomy, and the thrill of building something from zero. A team of strategists, designers, and developers working globally and collaboratively. We love good stories, strong coffee, and making the web a more human place.

The Role:

In this role, you’ll transform complex business needs into seamless, human-centered digital experiences—you’ll help create responsive marketing sites for clients ranging from start-ups to VC-backed companies. While that’s our main focus, we also work on eCommerce sites and mobile apps. You’ll collaborate closely with the strategy, design and development teams in an agile environment, applying strong UX principles every step of the way.

We’re looking for someone who communicates clearly, works well with diverse teams, and takes initiative to move projects forward through their successful completion —especially as digital experiences evolve with AI and new interaction models.

What You’ll Do:

  • Take a project from discovery to UX hand-off and perform dev support in a UX capacity when called upon.
  • Transform ideas and requests into highly detailed and complete site map and wireframe deliverables.
  • Fluently carrying out Content Design goals and applying UX patterns
  • Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team including UX researchers, developers, visual designers, content strategists, and project managers.
  • Present project progress and concepts to clients, walking them through the rationale of UX decisions.

Must-Haves:

  • 5+ years proven experience as a UX Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills and process.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
  • Great presentation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Figma
  • Have a general understanding of how CMSs work.
  • Experience translating findings into actionable design recommendations.
  • A strong portfolio that demonstrates your ability to shape and refine information architecture—from structuring content hierarchies and planning navigation to mapping user journeys. Include examples such as user flows, sitemaps, wireframes, low-fi prototypes, and other IA deliverables
  • Fluent in English

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience conducting research to understand user behaviors, needs, and motivations through methods such as journey mapping, persona development, heuristic evaluations, and usability testing.
  • The ability to lead or contribute to stakeholder interviews, workshops, UX audits (including AI-readiness evaluations), user testing, and research synthesis.
  • Webflow specific knowledge is a plus.

What It’s Like Here

  • Remote-first and people-first.
  • A variety of client work: quick iterations, deep storytelling builds, and everything in between.
  • Cross-functional collaboration is part of every day.
  • We value curiosity, kindness, and clarity.
  • You’ll work with some of the best brand strategists, designers, and thinkers in the game.

Why Edgar Allan

  • Fully remote and flexible.
  • Human-centered culture.
  • Opportunity to grow your Webflow expertise and shape how we build.
  • A diverse portfolio of work for purpose-driven clients.
  • Competitive compensation and team support.

Interested? Apply now or reach out with your portfolio. We’d love to see what you’ve built.
